1992

Established as BarterLink, Inc.

1995

After the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, our mobile phones were rented to the mass media and people who worked for restoration assistance

After the Tokyo Subway Sarin Incident, to provide safety measure, we began renting mobile phones for school field trip, and from there expanded the service to travel agencies and educational institutions nationwide

1996

Provided Japanese business travelers with mobile phones for various countries, when Japanese mobile phones could not be used overseas

Started delivery service for replacement unit for damaged devices in various cities overseas

2000

Started mobile phone rental service at Narita Airport (the service ended as of January 2023)

2002

Ahead of the industry, we opened an in-house counter for mobile phone rental service (without any prior reservation) at Narita Airport, for FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan

2003

Changed the company name to Telecom Square, Inc.

Started 24/7 Japanese language support for customers traveling to the United States, China and Europe

2010

Launched Wi-Ho!®, a flat-rate rental service of mobile Wi-Fi routers (the service ended as of September 2022)

2013

Established Telecom Square Taiwan (特樂通股份有限公司)

2014

Started providing prepaid SIM cards

2016

Launched prepaid SIM cards with voice call function, at our airport counters nationwide

Started capital investment to CG Communications S.A.S

2017

Launched PinnAR, an AR navigation app that navigates users to their destinations within walking distance

2019

Became the official representative for "Biki", a bicycle-sharing service in Honolulu, Hawaii

2020

Started the eSIM sales business

2022

Launched “WiFiBOX”, the world’s first automated international Wi-Fi rental service
